ADP Ingénierie plans the expansion of Kathmandu International Airport
Groupe ADP's subsidiary, ADP Ingénierie was selected, by the Nepalese authorities, to plan the development of Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, as well as to provide assistance in the preparation and implementation of a Public-Private Partnership.
This project, which combines modernity and respect for an all-encompassing natural environment, includes the creation of a new 100,000 sq.m passenger terminal, which will bring the airport's capacity for the handling of international traffic up from 4 to 7.5 million passengers per year by 2030.
As part of its consulting mission, Groupe ADP is in charge, in particular, of the detailed design of a number of structures making it possible, amongst other things, to increase passenger handling capacity, through the creation of a new international terminal; to reconfigure the existing international terminal for domestic traffic, to upgrade the infrastructures and to bring the airport into compliance.
