Loyalty Scheme - Special Conditions of Use

The purpose of these special conditions of use (hereinafter referred to as "Special Conditions") is to set out the terms of your Membership to the Scheme and to define your rights and obligations as a Member thereof.
This Scheme is offered by AEROPORTS DE PARIS, a French public limited company with share capital of €296,881,806, registered office at 291 boulevard Raspail, 75675 PARIS CEDEX 14 and registered under SIREN number 552 016 628 , hereinafter referred to as Paris Aéroport
Please read the conditions of use carefully prior to completing the online Scheme registration forms. You will not be able to use the Scheme until you have created an account in the Paris Aéroport app, properly completed the registration form and agreed to the terms and conditions of the Loyalty Scheme by clicking "I would like to join the Loyalty Scheme".
By registering for the Scheme, you accept and confirm that:
- (I) You have read, understood and accepted the conditions of use of the Scheme,
- (II) You meet the conditions of Membership,
- (III) You agree that all of the provisions set out in the Agreement shall be applicable to you until such a time that you cancel or we cancel your Membership in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the Special Conditions of Use.
We have assigned specific meanings to certain words that are used frequently in this Agreement. Below are the definitions we have assigned to them:
- App: the Paris Aéroport mobile service, which must be downloaded by Members from the app stores compatible with their mobile device, of which the Scheme is one component, that allows Members to access the benefits of the Scheme and their Loyalty Card.
- High-speed Wi-Fi: free Wi-Fi connection with an upload or download speed of up to 5 MB/s.
- Journey: departing flight from Paris-Orly or Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport.
- Loyalty Card: the Member’s virtual Loyalty Card which can be found in the App. The Loyalty Card must be presented by the Member when requested by Us or a Partner of the Scheme. Without this Loyalty Card, the Member cannot take full advantage of the benefits of the Scheme.
- Member: any individual registered on the Scheme.
- Membership: the act of becoming a Member of the Scheme.
- My Account: the areas of the App and the Paris Aéroport website in which Members can view all of their personal information.
- Partner: any organisation or company participating in the Scheme by granting benefits and/or awarding Points to Members.
- Points: the unit of account awarded to Members either by Us or by the Partners.
- Scheme: the My Paris Aéroport loyalty scheme accessible via the Paris Aéroport App or the Paris Aéroport website.
- Us/We: Paris Aéroport.
2. Description of the Scheme
The Scheme is designed for Paris Aéroport customers and passengers. The aim of the Scheme is to offer our Members access to certain benefits and the ability to earn Points via the App and in our Partner stores. Members then have the option to convert their Points into vouchers which can be used for Paris Aéroport car park services and in Partner stores.
3. Membership to the Scheme
3.1. Membership to the Scheme is restricted to individuals.
If you are under eighteen (18) years of age, you will need permission from your parents, guardian or legal representative to take part in the Scheme and, in particular, to convert your Points.
Membership to the Scheme is open to airport staff.
3.2. Membership to the Scheme is free.
3.3. Membership to the Scheme is straightforward.
Your Membership to the Scheme becomes effective once you have read the general conditions of use of the App, completed the membership form and read and accepted the special conditions of use of the Scheme. You must provide a valid email address in order for your Membership to be approved.
Your Paris Aéroport account will be protected by a password chosen by You. You must not share this with any other person; We shall not be liable in the event of the fraudulent use of your password. If you lose and/or forget your password, you can ask for it to be resent to you by contacting customer service or by clicking "I've forgotten my password" on the log in screen. You will receive an email containing a secure link which will enable you to change your password. We will use the email address provided upon registration. Under no circumstances may you lend, give, sell or in any way make available your account and/or password to a third party.
Once You have met the above conditions, properly completed the registration form and accepted the Agreement by confirming your registration, you will become a Member of the Scheme.
3.5. Information, newsletter and promotional communication
Members are advised that, upon registration and as Members of the Scheme, they will receive information emails on the operation and development of the Scheme.
Members have the choice whether or not to receive promotional emails and/or text messages from Paris Aéroport on Scheme news and future plans.
Members can choose whether to receive notifications on Scheme news and future plans on their mobile devices via the Paris Aéroport App, by agreeing to receive said notifications upon installation of the App on their mobile device or by activating this option in the App settings.
4.1. Using the Scheme
You must have an Internet connection either directly or through a device that offers access to the Internet. You shall be liable for any costs you incur when accessing the Internet, the website, the App and/or the websites of our Partners, in accordance with the terms and conditions set by your network operator.
4.2. Conditions of connection
You must also ensure that you have all of the equipment necessary to guarantee your connection to the Internet, in particular a computer and modem or other connection tool, and that you have a valid email address.
5. Benefits of the Scheme
We reserve the right to change the benefits of the Scheme described below at any time. We also reserve the right to share temporary offers and benefits with You. The benefits offered to you and their conditions of use can be found in your My Account area.
You can collect Points for every purchase made in Partner stores (excluding purchases of tobacco products, phone cards/credit, stamps and gambling/scratch cards); two Points for every euro spent. Your total is automatically calculated based on the net total spent.
You can also spend these points in blocks of five hundred Points, equivalent to five euros to spend in Partner stores. Spending your Points is just like shopping with vouchers. They may be used in conjunction with other promotions or applicable discounts in our Partner stores.
You will also benefit from a permanent 5% discount on all purchases of beauty products, wines, spirits and books in our Partner stores. This discount may not be used in conjunction with any other discounts or promotions that may be offered.
However, your permanent discount will still be applied when you pay with your Points.
5.2. Car Parks
You can earn Points for every car park reservation you make; two Points for every euro spent. Your total is automatically calculated based on the net total that you have paid online.
You can also spend these Points; five hundred Points is equivalent to ten euros. Spending your Points is just like shopping with vouchers. They can also be used in conjunction with other car park promotions or applicable discounts.
You will be entitled to a one-off 10% discount on weekend parking which can be used at any time during your Membership. You will also be entitled to a permanent 5% discount on all car parks. These discounts may not be used at the same time and will be automatically offered to you when you book using the App.
You will be entitled to a number of benefits:
- High-speed Wi-Fi connection in our airports using your loyalty scheme log in details
- Discounts on currency exchange and baggage wrapping with our Partners upon presentation of your Loyalty Card.
- Other permanent and temporary benefits will be displayed in your My Account area or sent to you by email or text message, if you have agreed to receive promotional emails and text messages from Paris Aéroport on Scheme news and future plans.
5.4. Conditions of application and/or awarding of benefits
The awarding and application of Scheme benefits is conditional upon the prior presentation of your Loyalty Card to Paris Aéroport or, where applicable, the Partners of the Scheme offering the benefit.
With regard to the permanent 5% discount, this applies to online car park reservations only, wines and spirits sold in BuY PARIS DUTY FREE, cosmetics, perfume and make-up sold by BuY PARIS DUTY FREE and at all Relay, Air de Paris and Travel & Co. shops located in Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly airports, with the exception of the products mentioned in clause 5.1.
This discount may not be used in conjunction with any other applicable discounts.
With regard to the car parks, the 10% discount on weekend parking is valid once during the lifetime of the Membership, for all categories.
It is possible to make more than one car park reservation and to use the various benefits. Only one benefit will apply for each car park reservation, subject to eligibility.
With regard to the free high-speed Wi-Fi, this is accessible via the App or the Wi-Fi portal in the terminals, subject to acceptance of the general conditions of use of the service.
5.5. Earning Points
Points are earned as and when you make valid purchases via the Scheme in Partner shops and make car park reservations online. Points can be spent in stores and on car park reservations.
5.6. Conditions for earning Points with Partners
You can earn and spend your Points when making car park reservations online and in the Partner stores located in Paris-Orly and Paris-Charles de Gaulle airports. These Points can only be earned on car park reservations and purchases made in Partner stores in Paris-Orly and Paris-Charles de Gaulle airports.
Purchases of tobacco products, phone cards/credit, stamps and gambling/scratch cards are excluded.
For in-store purchases, Points are credited at the time of purchase. For car park reservations, they are credited when you exit the car park.
5.7. Using your Points
You cannot earn Points and spend these Points on the same purchase. However, it is possible to spend them on your subsequent purchase.
Your Points are strictly personal and may not be transferred to another account.
5.8. Your Points total
You can check your Points balance in the My Account menu on the parisaeroport.fr website and on the App by logging in (with your email address and password).
Any complaint relating to your account balance must be sent to Us by email using the contact form available in your My Account area. Once We have carried out our checks, We will be able to recredit your account, where applicable, with the number of Points in question.
5.9. Points expiry date
Your Points balance is valid until 31 December two years after the date on which you became a Member of the Scheme. This period is calculated based on your Membership date and may not be extended. This means that all Points that You have earned during this period (for example on purchases eligible for the awarding of Points) will be valid until 31 December two years after the date on which you joined the Scheme.
After this time, your Points balance will be set to zero and any new Points that you earn will be valid for a period of 36 months.
5.10 Converting your Points
Points earned can be converted into vouchers in accordance with the following:
Five hundred Points earned can be converted into a €5 voucher valid for purchases in Partner stores (excluding the purchase of tobacco products, phone cards/credit, stamps and gambling/scratch cards) or a €10 voucher for online car park reservations.
5.11 Refunding Points
In the event of a refund received on an in-store purchase, the Points earned on said purchase will be debited from your account. If you used your Points to pay for this purchase, these Points will not be refunded to you. If you have spent the Points you earned for this purchase, your Points balance will become negative. The Points you earn on your next purchases will be credited to your account and as such you may regain a positive Points balance.
If you have made and paid for a car park reservation with Points but you do not use the reservation, your Points will not be refunded to you.
If you reduce the duration of a car park reservation paid for using your earned Points, the difference will be refunded to you in euros but the used Points will not be refunded to you.
5.12 Fraud prevention
Member accounts are strictly personal. Points may not be transferred to another account holder. Only one account is permitted per Member. You may not have multiple accounts on different devices.
If We suspect that an account is being used fraudulently, the account may be locked. In order to confirm fraud, investigations may be carried out on the Member's purchase history, within the statutory period of limitation. In the event of fraud, we will close the Member's account. The Member will be informed of the locking and/or closure of their account.
5.13 Customer service
Our Customer service team can provide information on the Scheme and how it works, and help with complaints and technical problems.
A pre-completed complaints form is available in the My Account menu on the App and on the parisaeroport.fr website. It is the responsibility of the Member to provide any relevant supporting documents.
Our Customer service team can also be contacted by calling 3950, Monday to Saturday between 8am and 8pm (€0.35/min from a landline in France, excluding any additional costs charged by your operator).
5.14 Personal Data
5.15 Cancelling your Membership
You may cancel your membership at any time.
5.15.1 Unsubscribe from the newsletter
Any Member no longer wishing to receive the newsletter can either unsubscribe via the My Account menu or by clicking the links provided for this purpose in emails and text messages.
5.15.2 Unsubscribe from the Scheme
Any Member wishing to unsubscribe from the Scheme may do so via the My Account menu.
It should be noted that Members unsubscribing from the Scheme will lose the right to spend their Points and access all benefits of the Scheme.
