Ankara Collection de Tables Constance GuissetJourney to the heart of designer and scenographer Constance Guisset’s unique dreamlike world.

Constance Guisset defines her work as “movement, lightness, dream, illusion, humor,” the keys to the success of an artist who in ten years has become a major figure in French design. Weaving her
mastery of ergonomics with a sense of surprise bordering on poetry, her designs, including sofas, tables, mirrors, and much more, attempt, in her words, “to transform the world with lighter and more surprising objects... to inspire our imagination.”

But Guisset goes beyond crafting materials and forms by creating environments for her objects. Her award-winning scenographies, designed for exhibitions and performances, have also contributed to her fame.

The Musée des Arts Décoratifs is now paying tribute to the scope of Guisset’s work, giving her carte blanche for an immersive journey. The designer deploys her innovative process in settings for some of the museum’s collections, along with a wide range of her flagship creations, covering a 1,000-sq-m (11,000-sq-ft) space. One of the most stimulating creative processes of the moment.
