Noto, an italien restaurant in 8e
This chic Art Deco trattoria, above the legendary Salle Pleyel concert hall, boasts a stunning decor inspired by Lucino Visconti’s classic film The Leopard, with chandeliers, white marble, lush carpets, and brass accents all orchestrated by interiors star Laura Gonzales.
The restaurant is named after the baroque Sicilian city of Noto, located south of Syracuse.
In the kitchen, chef Patrick Charvet enjoys crafting Italian dishes cooked over a grill: roasted lamb with lemon confit, yoghurt, herbs, and tender vegetables (€35) or whole sea bream with tomato confit, shallots, and rosemary (€43), followed by a classic Italian tiramisu (€10).
Viva la dolce vita! Menus: lunch €37, dinner €75.
