éroports de Paris invites you on a journey with the fourth Espace Musées exhibition.
Every six months, Espace Musées organises an exhibition in partnership with the greatest museums of Paris, in the centre of Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, Terminal 2E, Hall M.
The prestigious collections of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris can currently be seen, with the theme “The art of travel” as an invitation to journey through the collections and through the centuries.
Travel through time and creativity with some fifty exceptional pieces, works of art and everyday objects, and discover to what extent travel has been a source of inspiration to French artists, like Pierre Legrain’s African chair (1924), the King and Queen sculptures of Janine Janet (1959), and the Lion sandals by designer Roger Vivier (1968).
Divided into several themes, “preparing for the journey”, “imaginary travels”, “packing your bags”, and “travel as a source of inspiration”, “Travel is an art” takes you for a promenade where history blends with dream and reality.
