The South Terminal opens its new business area

Located in Hall B of Paris-Orly’s South Terminal, this 61 sq.m space welcomes business travellers departing for Schengen destinations.

The business area concept includes areas for work, relaxation and building business relationships. It is available free of charge to business passengers and is intended to make their waiting time at the airport productive.

It follows on from the first business area opened in 2015 in Hall 2 of Orly West, which has been a huge success with passengers (97% of passengers satisfied, according to a BVA survey of passengers using the area).

With free boosted Wi-Fi available, business travellers can work or access information or entertainment. Equipped with beacon transmitters, the area is connected to the Paris Aéroport mobile app, making communication possible between the airport and passengers who have downloaded the app.

The area was also designed to allow start-ups to give presentations, thus helping businesses to become aware of one another and build business relationships. .

A week of networking breakfasts for Business Class passengers with Transavia

For the business area’s opening, Paris Aéroport is organising - in partnership with the airline Transavia - morning networking breakfasts for business travellers.

There is also the opportunity to talk to members of Paris Aéroport’s Business Programme, as well as Transavia staff.

Finally, for the following 3 weeks a free welcome cup of coffee is planned in the business area for Transavia’s business passengers.
