Starting 24 September, the BuY PARIS DUTY FREE shops at the Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly airports will have the new L'Oréal Paris x Balmain makeup collection for sale.
L'Oréal Paris is beginning a unique partnership between fashion and beauty with the launch of a capsule collection of 12 lipsticks in partnership with Balmain Paris. For the launch of this capsule collection, L'Oréal Paris has developed an inspiring publicity campaign where fashion and beauty meet.
Through this campaign, L'Oréal Paris is sending a message of diversity and female empowerment, showcasing 12 women of different backgrounds. For Balmain and its artistic director Olivier Rousteing, there is no single ideal of beauty, but an infinite number of different beauty types.
Shot together by the famous photographer Nico Bustos, the 12 models chosen represent L’Oréal Paris x Balmain Paris' three tribes of femininity. Offering the world a new vision of Parisian beauty, these three distinct stories - Rock, Couture, and Glamazone - are told in four shades each, with something for every skin tone.
The campaign, which kicks off Balmain Paris' foray into makeup, also gives customers a sneak peak of the collection's extremely enviable packaging—a mix of the opulent and the avant-garde designed by Olivier Rousteing. Emblazoned in gold with the Balmain name, the collectible tubes come in different colours for each L’Oréal Paris x Balmain Paris tribe: blue for Rock, black for Couture and green for Glamazone. Each tribe has its star shade: Glamazone Ysaunny Brito sports Balmain Instinct, Rock's Soo Joo Park lays claim to Freedom, and Couture muse Doutzen Kroes dazzles in Confidence. These three colours reflect different cultures, histories, and personalities.
