Development of the local economy and the living environment
Paris Aéroport's business activities and those of the airport players as a whole have a direct effect on the development of the local economy and the living environment. The Paris airports generate over 8% of salaried employment in the Ile-de-France region with over 570,860 direct, indirect, related and spin-off jobs (2017 data).
More than 122,000 people work there in almost 1,000 companies.
We are a developer and major economic player in Île-de-France, working with the regions where our roots lie to enhance their attractiveness and competitiveness so that the local populations benefit as much as possible from the wealth that is generated.
The figure: 2,2 M€ are assigned every year to our actions of societal commitment
A policy structured around 3 axes
Paris Aéroport's economic and social cooperation policy, steered by the Environment and Sustainable Development Division, is pursued through two territorial delegations – one for Paris-Orly and the other for Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Le Bourget.
It is structured around three key objectives:
• Support for the access to work policies for the inhabitants of the departments surrounding our three airports
• The economic development and promotion of the Greater Roissy/Le Bourget and Orly Business District areas at a regional, national and international level
• The relationship of mutual trust with local elected officials, associations and the local residents
