Construction attractiveness and economic dynamism

A longstanding commitment

Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Paris-Orly and Paris-Le Bourget – recognised as key economic zones by the Île-de-France regional master plan – generate over 30.3 billion Euros in added value, or 3.9 % of regional GDP (2017 data). The Greater Roissy and Orly economic hubs are key locations where French and international companies open to globalisation can become established. Paris Aéroport's involvement in sustainable development in these zones is based on collectively building up their attractiveness and economic dynamism. Paris Aéroport contributes to this by serving on several governing bodies and actively participating in collective initiatives for promoting the area.

The Grand Roissy

Paris Aéroport is a stakeholder in a collective ambition - making Greater Roissy a world-class airport location, sustainable and profitable for its inhabitants.
This region is enjoying a rapid economic expansion and provides over 260,000 private sector jobs. It benefits directly from the strong economic activity generated by the Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Le Bourget airports and by national developmental projects.

Since 2009, Paris Aéroport has actively supported the Hubstart Paris Région® Alliance for enhancing the international attractiveness of Greater Roissy/Le Bourget in the face of global competition.

The Orly Paris Pact®

Paris Aéroport has participated in the governance of the regional pact for employment, training and the economic development of the Orly Business District since 2009. The pact brings together the Île-de-France region, the departmental councils of Essonne and Val-de-Marne, the French government, the consular chambers, Ador, development agencies, inter-municipal bodies and the regional department of the French Employment Agency.
