The findings
For the past 20 years, the association Clé – Compter, lire, écrire or “count, read, write” – located in Ermont, in Val-d’Oise, has been offering support courses for the illiterate.
Considering that difficulties in reading, writing and arithmetic often lead to school drop-out, the association supports some forty youngsters aged 9 to 15 in learning basic skills.
The children are progressing and come to the association with a smile. They become more confident thanks to the accompaniment of our committed volunteers but also the support of our partners without whom none of this would have been possible.
