Groupe ADP operates Queen Alia International Airport, in Amman
Following the winning of a concession contract in 2007, Groupe ADP has been operating and developing Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, through Airport International Group (AIG) in which it holds a 51% stake alongside builders and investment funds.
A 25-year concession-contract covers the operation of existing facilities, and the construction and operation of a new terminal.
Groupe ADP experts piloted the construction, commissioning and operations of a new 103,000 sq.m terminal (with an initial annual capacity of 7 million passengers), expanded to 147,000 sq.m in 2016 (increasing capacity to 12 million passengers).
The quality of the work carried out has allowed the airport to win, at the ACI's Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards, the award for the best airport in the Middle East, in 2014 and 2015.
