ACTIVITIES ON FRENCH NATIONAL TERRITORY

Once you are on French territory, you will be asked for proof of full vaccination*, a certificate of recovery less than 6 months old or a certificate of contraindication to vaccination each time you wish to access many places (bars, restaurants, museums, etc.): more information on the French government website (in French).

*booster dose included in the time limit for those eligible from 18 years and 1 month

What is the health pass?
The health pass consists of the simplified presentation of health proof to Covid19. It can be done digitally (via the  TousAntiCovid app) or in paper format.
What are the modalities to benefit from the EU health pass?
Three options are possible:

- a complete vaccination schedule
- a negative RT-PCR or antigen test
- a positive RT-PCR or antigen test attesting to recovery from Covid19 dating at least 11 days and less than 6 months.

Please note: for non-vaccinated passengers, the validity of the tests requested varies according to the rules in force in the country of destination.

Vaccination certificate done outside the European Union: how to get your EU health pass?

Your vaccination schedule was carried out outside the European Union? To move freely within the EU and in France, you must convert your certificate into a European health pass.

The Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs has opened up the possibility for all foreign passengers to translate their vaccination certificates into an EU health pass.

Pharmacies in airport are ready to welcome you:

*the procedure is also available in pharmacies outside the airport.

Frequently asked questions

Is the sanitary pass necessary to go in the airport?

By prefectural decree, access to the Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly terminals is strictly reserved for passengers and persons accompanying minors, disabled persons, persons with reduced mobility, or vulnerable persons.
Since 08/08/21, the Covid Certificate is compulsory for traveling by plane. You may be asked for this when passing through the airport several times before you board a flight.

Is the health pass required in bars and restaurants at the airport?

Since 24/01/22, only the vaccination pass - either proof of a complete vaccination schedule, a certificate of recovery less than 6 months old or a certificate of contraindication to vaccination - is accepted for access to bars and restaurants on site at the airport. More information on the Government website (in French).

Can the health pass be used to travel within the European Union?

Since July 1, 2021, with the harmonization of the European health pass, also known as the “EU digital Covid certificate”, you can now travel freely throughout Europe by simply presenting a QR Code, available directly in the TousAntiCovid application (the QR code of the application is unified with the format requested by the European Union).
The EU digital Covid Certificate is applicable in the member states of the European Union as well as Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland and the Vatican.

Can the European health pass (“EU Digital Covid Certificate”) be used to travel internationally?

No. This is a standard adopted by the European Union. It does not replace the local regulations of the country of destination outside the Member States of the European Union as well as Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland and the Vatican.

I am not vaccinated. Is it possible to produce a QR code from my certificate of recovery?

No. The device allows recognition of vaccination abroad. The certificate of reinstatement cannot therefore be registered in this context.
