A variety of gifts at Rue Rangoli

For an ethical Christmas, head for Rue du Cherche-Midi where this shop stocks a range of 100% upcycled presents, showcasing high quality, beautifully crafted items made all over the world from used materials. We love their laptop sleeves made from old tyres (€70) and their elephant dung board game!

Tea time l'hôtel Ritz

Afternoon tea at the
Ritz

Take a break in style at the luxurious Parisian ‘palace’ with a Christmas flavour. From now until 6 January, you can cosy up in front of the fire in the Salon Proust and taste the sweet creations of pastry chef François Perret, infused with nostalgic spiced undertones. Our favourite is the famous Madeleine, made with clove-infused pastry.

From €68 to €88, champagne included.

Fashion Freak Show

An evening at Folies Bergère for the Fashion Freak Show

Jean-Paul Gaultier has taken over the Folies Bergère where he presents a look back at 50 years of his life, pop culture and eccentricity with a show that is part-catwalk, part-cabaret. We love the iconic fashion creations and the staging, accompanied by a disco, funk and punk musical soundtrack. But there's more! Why not opt for a VIP package? Available weekends with a separate cloakroom, a glass of champagne at the bar and the best seats in the house!

Tuesdays to Sundays, 8pm (3pm and 8pm Sundays).
€30 - €99.

Froufrou

Festive dining at FrouFrou

Party into the night at the new bar and restaurant tucked away underneath the Edouard VII theatre. The atmosphere is both festive and friendly. The culinary talents of chef Juan Arbelaez put the emphasis on large sharing platters. We particularly recommend the roasted supreme of chicken (€25), the confit of lamb shoulder and the whole-roasted monkfish. After dinner, stay for one last drink in the underground speakeasy bar.

3-course dinner approx. €50 per person.

Hôtel Brach

A Starck-inspired night at Hotel Brach Paris

The latest Parisian hotel designed by Philippe Starck is a fantastic place to spend the night. Stay in one of the 52 warmly-decorated rooms and take advantage of a range of ultra-exclusive services without stepping foot outside the hotel: two swimming pools, a gym, restaurant and cocktail bar. Our ultimate highlight was the breakfast of pastries and other delicacies by award-winning Yann Brys.

Rooms available from €410.
