Have you lost a personal belonging 
when passing through one of our airports?


If you have lost an item within the airport, please fill out the online lost & found form. 
The lost property office of the concerned airport will contact you as soon as possible. 

at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport: 

 
For any request, go on the website and submit your declaration of loss via the online form. If the object is found, an email will be sent to you proposing an appointment on our site or the return of your object to the address of your choice.





at Paris-Orly airport:

Good to know:


Items lost on board, in an airline lounge, in a bus for embarkation/disembarkation, are taken care of by the airline and handed over to its baggage service.

After 15 days, items found are sent to Service des Objets Trouvés de la Préfecture de Police de Paris (Lost Property department of the Paris Police Headquarters). Follow the steps on the official website of the prefecture to declare your lost property: www.ppbot.fr


The lost and found office donates clothing accessories such as belts, hats, scarves, gloves, vests to charities. These parts which are not subject to a storage period cannot be claimed.

An item found in an airplane is automatically handled by the airline that chartered this aircraft.

If you have lost an item on route between the plane and the terminal

    (for example in the bus that collected/deposited you at the foot of the aircraft)
In this case, a found item is automatically handled by the airline you used.

If you lost an item in the baggage reclaim area 

• If you lost checked baggage that was not returned to you, please contact the baggage enquiries department of your airline.  Airlines directory 

• If you lost another item or non-checked baggage : contact the Paris Aéroport "Lost Property" department. Go to the "Lost & Found" desk in the concerned terminal :

Undelivered bag

The return of baggage in the baggage reclaim area is the responsibility of the airline handling that baggage

If your item has already been found, our "lost and found" department will contact you directly.
If your item has been found after receiving your online loss report, you will get an email notifying your item has been found.

If you lost an item in a public transport

    (for example in the bus that collected/deposited you at the foot of the aircraft).

In this case, a found item is automatically handled by the transport company you used, most often by the "Lost Property" department when there is one.

If you lost an item on board the CDGVal, ORLYVal or car park shuttles, please contact the Paris Aéroport "Lost Property" department. Go to the "Lost & Found" desk in the concerned terminal :

If you lost an item in a taxi

If you know the taxi company you used, we recommend that you contact it directly.

For information, items found in taxis are generally sent very quickly to the Paris Police "Lost Property" department (Objets trouvés), rue des Morillons.
