The Muscovite institution has launched a sweet new outlet, where you can enjoy the Pouchkinette, a delicious take on choux pastry.

It’s Paris Aéroport’s goal to offer passengers the best in gastronomy. After Mariage Frères, Ladurée and La Maison du Chocolat, Café Pouchkine has now opened two Pouchkinette outlets at Paris-Orly.

The boutiques –in rose and ivory, inspired by a 19th-century storefront – showcase the divine pastries of world-champion pastry chef Julian Alvarez, at the helm of the Franco-Russian house..

Prepared before your eyes, the Pouchkinette, available in seven flavors, is a fragrant cloud of chantilly cream inside a light sugar-coated chouquette (choux pastry) in a range of colors, depending on the flavor.

You’ll find other new delights too: mini-opéras, financiers, marshmallows and Grands Crus chocolate pencil boxes.  Tip: on the first three Fridays in October, Julien Alvarez will be on site to autograph his pastry boxes at Paris-Orly Ouest. And, until October 31, you can enter to win a trip to Moscow in both outlets.
